We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Lead for our AFS Operations in Bengaluru, India. As a Floor Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our advanced manufacturing facility.

  • Lead and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflow
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the production area
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Train and develop team members on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management review
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma certification preferred)
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a production environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
  • Willingness to relocate to or currently reside in Bengaluru, India
