Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Flexera and SummitAI to join our IT Operations & Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with software asset management (SAM), IT service management (ITSM), and IT operations leveraging Flexera and SummitAI platforms. You will play a critical role in solution architecture, tool integration, optimization, and end-user enablement to support enterprise IT and software asset lifecycle objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Flexera (Software Asset Management & ITAM)

· Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Flexera tools (FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, etc.).

· Maintain and improve software license compliance, usage tracking, and optimization.

· Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support cost control through efficient software asset management.

· Interpret complex license agreements (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, etc.) to configure license rules within Flexera.

· Monitor and report on software usage, license position, and compliance risks.

SummitAI (ITSM/ITOM Platform)

· Configure and optimize SummitAI modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.

· Work with process owners to align ITIL processes and best practices within SummitAI.

· Drive automation initiatives using SummitAI's cognitive service management capabilities and AI features.

· Design and implement integrations between SummitAI and other platforms (e.g., Active Directory, CMDB, Flexera).

· Train and support end-users and administrators on best practices and efficient use of the platform.

General Responsibilities

· Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across IT, procurement, compliance, and operations teams.

· Provide Level 3/SME support, troubleshoot issues, and manage vendor escalations as needed.

· Contribute to tool roadmap planning, upgrades, and patch management.

· Document solutions, configurations, and procedures clearly and concisely.

· Support audits and internal compliance efforts related to software licensing and ITSM operations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

· 5–8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Software License Management, or ITSM.

· Proven experience with Flexera (FlexNet Manager, Flexera One, FNMS) and SummitAI.

· Strong knowledge of ITIL practices; ITIL v3/v4 certification is a plus.

· Hands-on experience integrating ITAM and ITSM platforms with enterprise systems.

· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with software audit preparation and compliance management.

· Knowledge of cloud license management (Azure, AWS, SaaS) within Flexera.

· Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for platform automation.

· Understanding of AI/ML features and their application in service management.
