Role Description
We are looking for a Safety Officer to monitor fleet movement and driver behavior using GPS systems, ensuring compliance with speed limits, night-driving policies, and road safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Real-time GPS monitoring (speed, route, stoppages)
- Control over-speeding & night-driving violations
- Monitor driver behavior & fatigue risks
- Incident reporting, RCA & safety MIS
- Driver counseling & safety awareness
Requirements:
- 25 years experience in fleet safety / transport operations [Mandatory]
- Hands-on experience with GPS tracking systems
- Knowledge of road safety & MV Act
- Strong reporting & communication skills
- Preferred: Experience in tanker / hazardous cargo transport
Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards and practices
- Experience in Accident Investigation and reporting procedures
- Proficiency in conducting Safety Training for diverse teams
- Strong understanding of Security measures and protocols
- Ability to assess risks, develop safety strategies, and implement corrective measures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety or related fields are an advantage
- Familiarity with transportation and logistics industry safety standards is beneficial
