JOB OBJECTIVE
Supports the accurate, timely and qualitative development and execution of CSCs recruitment plan according to CSC processes and standards of BSM/ SMCs, in order to provide a pool of seafarers that meet the quality and technical standards of BSM/SMCs. The key accountabilities for the position may be shared between several employees within the CSC.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Planning & Preparation Crew Change Operations & Compliance
  • Overseeing senior and junior rank rotations onboard oil and chemical tanker vessels.
  • Ensuring compliance with Oil MajorMatrix and charterer/owner requirements.
  • Shortlisting senior officers and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Managing crew change operations and ensuring timely relief.
  • Keep records of all necessary training courses per individual seafarer required and communicate accordingly with the participants to attend the course(s).
  • Reporting P&I cases and assisting with medical sign-offs.
  • Perform all the administrative tasks and provide support to the department members for the efficient and well organised execution of recruitment plan.
  • Prepare the required documentation to enable the timely travelling of crew to vessels. Monitor the accurate execution of all travelling operations and inform the FPD Marine Officer of any potential discrepancies.
  • Insert data and records in the Crew PAL Personnel Management System and relevant databases, ensuring continuous coherence with crew changes.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to assigned seafarer candidates contributing towards internal information sharing and coherence.
  • Follows-up availability of ex-crew seafarers based on their DOA and schedules deployment.
  • Coordinates the prompt and accurate implementation of legislative changes into the CSC procedures under the Guidance of the Fleet Personnel Manager/CSC Director.
  • Briefs and debriefs seafarers concerning employment conditions and vessels particulars and forwards issues identified to the FPD Manager and any relevant department, to facilitate the development of solutions.
  • Assist in the proper and timely execution of embarkation and disembarkation of seafarers, preparing and providing all the documentation required.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime or related field.
  • Familiarity with maritime operations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prove teamwork and cooperation.
  • Fluency in English.
  • PC literacy.
