Job Purpose:
The role ensures smooth industrial relations, timely compliance, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with contractors, employees, and external authorities.
Job Description:
Assist in handling disciplinary cases related to departmental and contractual employees.
Prepare and maintain case records, investigation notes, and documentation.
Assist in issuing notices, conducting preliminary inquiries, and following disciplinary procedures as per company policy and legal guidelines.
Ensure timely communication of disciplinary outcomes and maintain confidentiality.
Support senior management in interacting with Labour Department, Police, BDO, Tehsildar, Employment Office, and other government bodies.
Assist in preparing documents, submissions, and compliance records required for inspections and visits.
Accompany senior officers during official meetings and maintain follow-up records.
Monitor daily attendance, wage records, and statutory registers maintained by contractors.
Verify wage payment records to ensure payment by the 7th of every month.
Assist in PF/ESI documentation, ECR verification, and follow-up with contractors for timely submission.
Prepare checklists and help issue monthly compliance certificates to contractors by the 15th of the succeeding month.
Support onboarding, orientation, and compliance monitoring of contract workers.
Maintain cordial day-to-day communication with representatives, local leaders, and community stakeholders.
Assist in handling grievances, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Prepare minutes, follow-up notes, and engagement reports for internal records.
Assist in ensuring compliance with labour laws such as Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, EPF Act, Contract Labour Act, Mines Act, and relevant rules.
Maintain statutory registers, records, and MIS reports as per audit and regulatory requirements.
Support implementation of provisions under the New Labour Codes.
Prepare documentation for statutory audits, inspections, and submissions.
Assist in implementing welfare schemes, medical facilities, canteen operations, and housing-related support.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, welfare camps, awareness programs, and grievance redressal processes.
Maintain welfare records and ensure availability of amenities as per statutory norms.
Provide daily updates to Head - IR/ER/Welfare on issues related to contractors, employees, and compliance.
Prepare MIS reports, trackers, compliance summaries, and documentation for internal use.
Coordinate with HR, Admin, Safety, Finance, and other internal departments for smooth IR/ER functioning.
