Job Purpose

Manage all administrative processes and activities for the House Keeping, Facilities management office, Staff Colony, Operators hostel and horticulture arrangements at office and township including asset management.

Job Context & Major Challenges

In line with its strategy of growing aggressively in the contract coal mining sector, the Mining Business has been exploring various opportunities. After its last success in the form of Bhubaneshwari OCP of ECL, it has now been awarded a similar contract by another subsidiary of CIL.
To complement the requirement generated by the expansion plans of a public sector power generation company, this subsidiary of CIL is compelled to increase the capacity of one of its existing mines to reach a peak production level of 18.7 MTPA. This is an open cast operational mine located in Godda district in Jharkhand.
The Mining Business has registered a Company (Rajmahal Coal Mining Company) to facilitate the commencement of operations. As per the contract the initial duration of the project is 12.5 yrs.

Key challenges:
. Maintaining ECL allotted accommodation/ Other accommodation in functional state at all times. Shortage of skilled person for maintenance work.
. Ensuring fleet management in such a manner that all users are satisfied and utilization is carried out as per planned budget.

KRA1Office AdministrationPlan and direct the availability of Furniture to meet the requirement.
Hotel booking/ Expert Hostel booking for Guests and visitors at Mahagama, Deoghar and other locations.
. Ensuring services from service providers / outsourcing agencies as per contract .
- Responsible Office housekeeping & pantry management
KRA2Township and Guesthouse Administration. To execute direction given by administration head for township maintenance and beautification.
. Ensuring proper living conditions for the Operators
. Ensure healthy and hygienic kitchen, dining halls and proper disposal of waste in all the canteens and guest houses.
Provision of water through water tanker at all accommodation, GH and office and facilitation of administration services.
KRA3Transport ManagementSystematic and optimal utilization of all vehicles.
Ensuring vehicles are maintained and utilized as per contractual obligations.
Maintain licenses, ID proofs and document of driver and other staffs. Checking of timely submission of bills.
Manage good relation with vendors.
KRA4Canteen ManagementManaging and making resources available in the canteen
Managing issues related to cook and helper and manage their availability all the time.
Interaction with Vendors for proper operating of Canteen for the Operators.
