Role & responsibilities
- Installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments such as pressure (PT), temperature (TT), flow (FT), and level (LT) transmitters.
- Conducting loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of instruments and control systems.
- Troubleshooting PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and 420 mA / HART communication loops.
- Calibration, inspection, and maintenance of control valves, actuators, and positioners.
- Reading and interpreting P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize plant downtime.
- Supporting FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities.
- Coordinating with process, electrical, and mechanical teams for smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards, PPE usage, and LOTO procedures.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing/piping systems (Fitter Plumbing).
- Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation in CMMS/SAP systems.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical / Plumbing related fields.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation, control systems, and plumbing/fitting work.
- Strong knowledge of field instruments (PT, TT, FT, LT), control valves, and PLC/DCS systems.
- Experience in installation, calibration, loop checking, commissioning, and troubleshooting of instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Familiarity with 420 mA signals, HART, and fieldbus communication.
- Knowledge of plumbing, piping, and general fitting work.
- Awareness of industrial safety practices, hazardous area standards (ATEX/IECEx), and LOTO procedures.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, participate in plant shutdowns, and handle multi-skill tasks.
