Firmware Test Engineer C Automation

Are you passionate about embedded systems, firmware validation, and test automation We are looking for a Firmware Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of next-generation connected devices and embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for embedded firmware applications.
• Validate firmware features related to RF communication, BLE, serial communication, and IoT devices.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#/.NET.
• Test firmware upgrade, rollback, and over-the-air (OTA) update mechanisms.
• Analyze and debug issues in embedded systems and collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD-based automated testing and regression environments.
• Participate in continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologies.

Strong understanding of Embedded Systems Architecture and debugging techniques.

• Firmware Functional Testing

• Serial Communication
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

Good Knowledge Of

• RF Fundamentals (RSSI, Sensitivity, Bandwidth, Modulation)
• OTA Firmware Upgrade & Rollback Mechanisms
• Battery-Powered Device Testing
• IoT Devices and Connected Products
  
  

Technical Expertise

• C# / .NET Programming
• Automation Framework Development & Maintenance
• Azure DevOps
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Automated Regression Testing
  
  

Preferable

• Experience with RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS)
• Experience working with Sub-GHz Radios, BLE, and IoT Ecosystems
