About The Role

We are looking for a skilled TPM firmware developer to design, develop secure firmware, and implement advanced security features that power next-gen hardware security.

What You'll Achieve

  • Develop and maintain TPM 2.0 firmware for ARM based SOCs including bootloaders, key management and attestation services
  • Develop new security features security features that combine hardware, firmware, and software components.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects, SOC design teams and security experts to ensure robust root of trust, cryptographic operations and compliance with standards like TCG/ ISO 11889
  • Integrate TPM firmware with SOC peripherals (ex: NV storage, crypto accelerators, secure enclaves) using C language
  • Implement and test cryptographic algorithms (RSA, ECC, AES) and secure boot mechanisms tailored to SOC constraints
  • Develop trusted firmware which performs measured boot functionality.
  • Debug firmware using JTAG, emulation tools, troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve SW bugs across multiple subsystems (firmware/OS) and drive them to a resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with FIPS 140-3, platform specific security requirements
  • Optimize firmware for low power, real time performance
  • Collaborate on post Silicon platform bring-up, firmware validation, testing in emulation, and resolve any system bring up issues promptly.
  • Document firmware architecture, APIs and design documents as needed.

About You

  • B.Tech / MTech degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field of study
  • 4+ years in embedded firmware development with 2+ years on TPM or secure firmware
  • Demonstrated programming capabilities in C programming and low-level firmware development on ARM/ RISC-V and RTOS (ex: Zephyr, FreeRTOS)
  • Hands-on experience with SOC integration, including DDR, PCIe and crypto cores.
  • Strong knowledge of TPM specifications (TCG TPM 2.0), secure boot and side channel attack mitigations
  • Experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, Yocto and hardware debuggers (Lauterbach, Segger)
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of basic networking
  • Knowledge of Cyber security domain and applied cryptography
  • Awareness of threat modelling and common attacks against modern cryptographic algorithms (encryption at rest, TLS, hashing, etc) is a plus
  • Knowledge of firmware authentication, certificate generation.
  • Familiarity with OP-TEE or ARM Trustzone
  • Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography or AI security workloads
  • Contributions to TPM libraries (ex: tpm2-tss) or related open-source projects
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Proactive and Self-managed individual
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
