Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate Firmware Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to embedded system development for our LED therapy and medical device products. The ideal candidate should have basic understanding of microcontrollers, coding, and electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in writing, testing, and debugging embedded firmware for microcontroller-based devices.
- Assist in developing new features, enhancements, and firmware updates.
- Work with hardware engineers to test and validate PCB prototypes.
- Perform basic testing, data logging, and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab instruments.
- Assist in documentation of firmware versions, testing reports, and development notes.
- Contribute to code reviews, continuous improvement, and optimization activities.
- Help integrate firmware with various sensors, LEDs, communication modules, and controllers.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic programming knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, PIC, Arduino, ESP32, or similar).
- Familiarity with basic electronics circuits, sensors, and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with embedded development tools (Keil, STM32CubeIDE, MPLAB, Arduino IDE, etc.).
- Understanding of RTOS concepts, timers, PWM, ADC, and interrupts.
- Exposure to PCB testing, firmware-hardware integration, or IoT development.
- Basic knowledge of Git or version-control systems.
