Firmware Development - Specialist (SW&S)

About the Role:

Lead the development of embedded firmware for power electronic inverters driving traction motors (PMSM, BLDC, Induction) in Electric Vehicles, industrial drives, and power conversion systems. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will own motor control algorithms, real-time firmware architecture, and hardware-software integration while mentoring junior engineers.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 8-12 years in embedded firmware for motor control inverters/Power Electronics.
• Expertise in Embedded C (MISRA C compliant) and real-time systems
• Hands-on experience with motor control MCUs: Infineon AURIX, TI C2000, Renesas
• Deep knowledge of FOC, SVPWM, power electronics fundamentals
• Proven experience with SIL/HIL testing, motor dyno validation

Required Domain Knowledge

• EV traction inverters or industrial motor drives
• ISO 26262 functional safety concepts
• CAN/UDS communication stacks
• ASPICE process awareness

Tools & Methodologies

• Debug tools: oscilloscopes, JTAG, Lauterbach
• IDEs: Tasking, IAR, Code Composer Studio
• Version control: Git, SVN
