Job Title: Firewall / Network Security Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer / Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprisegrade network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Fortinet FortiGate (NSE4) or Palo Alto (PCNSE) technologies, along with solid knowledge of SDWAN, VPN, BGP, and High Availability (HA) architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain nextgeneration firewalls (Fortinet FortiGate or Palo Alto Networks).
- Manage firewall policies, security rules, NAT configurations, and threat prevention modules.
- Implement and support SDWAN environments across distributed sites.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPSec/SSL VPNs for sitetosite and remote access.
- Design, implement, and optimize BGP routing in secure network environments.
- Build and support High Availability (HA) firewall clusters for continuous uptime.
- Monitor network security events, analyze logs, and respond to incidents.
- Perform periodic audits, firmware upgrades, and security posture assessments.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams during deployments and escalations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fortinet NSE4 certification or
- Palo Alto PCNSE certification (preferred).
- Strong handson experience with FortiGate or Palo Alto firewalls.
- Expertise in SDWAN, VPN, and BGP routing protocols.
- Proven experience implementing and troubleshooting HA firewall clusters.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching).
- Experience working in enterprise or managed security environments.
