Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Draughtsman. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and blueprints for fire safety systems including fire fighting and fire alarm setups. Responsibilities include preparing accurate designs, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, collaborating with engineers, reviewing design plans, and making necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Fire Safety, Fire Protection, and Fire Prevention practices and standards
• Knowledge of Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Alarm systems, including installation and maintenance requirements
• Experience in designing systems that support life safety and ensure protective measures for people and property
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting tools for creating technical and detailed drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure designs comply with regulatory codes and guidelines
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with engineers and project teams
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field is a plus
• Prior experience in the fire safety and protection industry is highly advantageous
