Product Configuration & Maintenance: Implement, configure, and maintain Fircosoft products, specifically Firco Continuity for transaction screening, along with utility tools such as FircoSoft MultiList Manager (FML) and FircoSoft User Manager (FUM).
Transaction Flow Management: Design and validate the end-to-end flow of payment messages (SWIFT, ACH, Fedwire) into the Fircosoft engine to ensure accurate parsing, filtering, and data extraction.
Tuning & Optimization: Lead tuning efforts to optimize filtering parameters, matching algorithms, scoring models, and rulesets. Your objective will be to satisfy regulatory standards while minimizing false-positive alerts in high-volume payment streams.
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide Level 3 production support and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex, high-priority issues related to the Fircosoft filtering engine, connectivity, and performance bottlenecks.
Project Support: Support critical Fircosoft projects, including version upgrades (e.g., Firco Continuity V6), patch deployments, and system integrations with upstream messaging systems and downstream case management tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of proven, hands-on experience as a Fircosoft SME, with specialized knowledge in Firco Continuity, rule writing, and tuning.
Functional knowledge of sanctions compliance requirements, and core transaction/payments screening principles. Strong functional and technical understanding of payment message formats, particularly SWIFT (MT/MX) and ISO 20022, and their interaction with sanctions screening filters.
Advanced SQL skills (Oracle or MS SQL) required for data manipulation, configuration analysis, and complex reporting
