Role Overview
We're looking for a fintech content writer who can transform complex trading concepts into clear, engaging, and insightful content — especially through newsletters.
This role goes beyond writing. It's about educating users, driving engagement, and improving how traders think and act. You'll play a key role in shaping how users understand markets through content.
We're looking for someone who is excited to own and scale our content efforts, and help build VibeTrader's voice within the global trading and fintech ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Write high-quality weekly newsletters on trading, forex, and market trends
- Translate complex financial concepts into simple, engaging storytelling
- Create content across:
- Blogs — insight-driven and educational
- Social media — engagement-focused
- Case studies — real-world insights and best practices
- Video scripts — compelling narratives
- Turn insights, data, and trends into content that drives engagement and informed action
- Work with Canva / Figma to support visual storytelling
- Track and improve newsletter performance (open rates, CTR, engagement) through continuous iteration
- Collaborate with founders on content strategy and brand positioning
- Identify content opportunities based on user behavior, trends, and product insights
Content Experience
You should be comfortable creating:
- Newsletters — keeping subscribers informed on trends and insights (must-have)
- Blogs — educational content with strong insights and clarity
- Social media content — driving engagement and conversations
- Case studies — showcasing success stories and best practices
- Video scripts — bringing fintech concepts to life through storytelling
- Visual content (flyers/graphics) — supporting content with simple visual storytelling
Skills & Mindset
- Strong research proficiency (gather, analyze, synthesize information)
- High attention to detail (grammar, accuracy, clarity)
- Strong creativity (unique ideas and compelling narratives)
- Critical thinking with balanced perspectives
- Strong time management (managing multiple projects and deadlines)

- Strong editing and proofreading skills (clarity, structure, coherence)
- High level of originality — no generic or templated content
- Ability to simplify complex trading/financial concepts
- Strong storytelling ability with an audience-first mindset
- Ability to create content that drives engagement and inspires informed action
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Beehiiv, Mailchimp) — newsletter creation, formatting, and campaign management
- Understanding of newsletter performance metrics (open rates, CTR, engagement) and ability to iterate based on data
- Familiarity with AI tools / prompt engineering (plus)
Qualifications
- Newsletter writing experience is required
- Experience in fintech / trading / financial markets is strongly preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with email platforms like HubSpot, Substack, Beehiiv, or similar
- Familiarity with trading concepts (market structure, indicators, sentiment, risk management)
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
- Experience using AI tools to scale content creation workflows
