Description
We are looking for a FinOps Practitioner in India who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud financial management processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud cost management and will work closely with various teams to drive financial accountability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage cloud financial management processes and practices to optimize costs.
- Develop and implement FinOps strategies for cloud cost management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze cloud usage and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track cloud expenditures.
- Educate teams on FinOps best practices and promote a culture of cost awareness.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in cloud financial management or related field.
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and metrics.
- Experience with cloud cost management tools and software (e.g., CloudHealth, CloudCheckr).
- Understanding of financial principles and practices related to cloud services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
