- Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design for analytical and reporting use cases
- Experience supporting Power BI reporting through optimized SQL data layers
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks, validation techniques, and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud platforms from a billing and data perspective
- Experience integrating APIs into SQL-based analytical environments
- Strong analytical mindset with focus on data accuracy, integrity, and documentation

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models for cloud cost and billing datasets
- Build SQL-based analytical solutions using Synapse SQL
- Transform cloud financial and usage data into structured datasets for FinOps analytics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and anomaly detection processes
- Design optimized analytical schemas for reporting and cloud spend analysis
- Implement SQL-based validation and reconciliation checks
- Support Power BI dashboards with optimized backend SQL layers
- Monitor query performance, data refresh SLAs, and troubleshoot latency/data quality issues
- Ensure governance, audit readiness, and security compliance for financial datasets
Certifications – Good to Have
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate
