Optimize Cloud Financial Operations with AI-Driven Intelligence
About the Role
We are looking for a FinOps Analyst (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on cloud cost optimization, financial operations, budgeting intelligence, and infrastructure cost analysis.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to cloud spending analysis, resource optimization, budgeting workflows, usage forecasting, and financial reporting, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world FinOps and cloud financial management challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for cloud governance, infrastructure optimization, financial intelligence, and AI-powered operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated FinOps and cloud cost management outputs
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for financial accuracy, cloud optimization efficiency, budgeting logic, and operational relevance
- Identify overspending risks, resource inefficiencies, forecasting gaps, or reporting inconsistencies in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving cloud budgeting, usage analysis, cost allocation, and infrastructure financial reporting
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on FinOps intelligence and cloud financial operations
Requirements
- Background in Finance, Cloud Operations, Business Analytics, Accounting, IT Operations, or related fields
- Strong understanding of cloud cost management, budgeting, financial analysis, and operational reporting
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with FinOps tools, Excel, Power BI, SQL, or cloud billing dashboards is preferred
- FinOps certification or cloud-related certifications are a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
