Job Description (JD) for a Finishing Engineer Residential Building:
Job Title: Finishing Engineer Residential Projects
Location - Jamnagar

Job Purpose
- To supervise and execute all finishing works in residential buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely completion, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all finishing activities including plastering, flooring, tiling, marble/granite work, waterproofing, false ceiling, painting, doors, windows, joinery, and final fixtures.
- Ensure all finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues.
- Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct inspections and ensure timely closure of snag lists and punch points.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company HSE policies.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and quality checklists.
- Verify subcontractor measurements and support billing activities.
- Coordinate handover activities and ensure apartments are ready for possession.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Interior Design
5 10 years of experience in finishing works for residential high-rise or township projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential finishing materials and construction techniques.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- AutoCAD (preferred).
