Job Description
A US fintech scaling its India team has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Financial Systems Analyst who will own the finance stack end to end, from the general ledger to the handful of point solutions the finance team has bolted on as the company has grown.
The systems you would own
Finance here runs on NetSuite, with Ramp for spend, a homegrown revenue recognition tool, and a growing list of integrations feeding data between them. Nobody currently owns the whole picture, which means small breaks compound quietly until close. That ownership is what this role is for.
What breaks when systems do not reconcile
- Configure and maintain chart of accounts, workflows and approval rules inside the ERP as the business adds new products and entities
- Own integrations between the ERP, the billing system and the spend management tool, and be the first call when data does not flow through cleanly
- Build and maintain reconciliations between systems of record, catching breaks before they surface in the close
- Partner with engineering on system upgrades, migrations and new tool rollouts, representing finance's requirements directly
- Document system logic and controls well enough that a new hire could pick up your area in a week, not a month
Where you would need to already be strong
3 to 7 years across financial systems, ERP administration or a hybrid accounting-and-systems role, with hands-on NetSuite or similar cloud ERP experience valued highly. SQL or a similar querying skill helps you diagnose issues rather than wait on engineering. Fintech, payments or lending exposure is a plus given the products this company runs.
Location Remote (India)
Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai or Remote (India).
What the process looks like
An HR conversation, a hands-on systems and reconciliation exercise, a technical round with the finance systems lead, and a closing conversation on fit.
One application here is considered for this role and other systems roles we open with similar companies.
