Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all non-technical billing and financial service requests from customers
- Manage and resolve billing-related issues, ensuring timely communication with customers
- Monitor and track debt-related issues and initiate credit note processing where required
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of customer financial records, billing data, and account information
- Support onboarding of customers onto billing systems and platforms (e.g., VEC billing systems)
- Participate in first invoice reviews for newly activated services
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for complex billing contracts and financial processes
- Collaborate with Service Program Managers (SPMs) and account teams on billing operations
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining billing flows and hierarchies
- Provide inputs for billing policies, quick reference guides, and global service plans
- Engage in proactive credit request management and financial adjustments for customers
- Support financial reporting activities including revenue tracking and account-level analysis
- Participate in customer meetings, governance reviews, and billing workshops
- Manage customer purchase orders and support procurement-related financial coordination
- Contribute to annual pricing reviews and financial negotiations with customers
- Ensure billing documentation, protocols, and processes are properly maintained and updated
- Support complex invoice formatting aligned with customer requirements and service delivery models
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams across finance, operations, and supply chain
High-Level FSM Responsibilities (for senior accounts)
- Prepare budget forecasting and track variance between forecast vs actual revenue
- Contribute to revenue analysis and account P&L reporting
- Manage complex billing hierarchies based on customer procurement and finance structures
- Lead customer-facing commercial governance and financial review meetings
- Facilitate billing workshops and account setup discussions
- Engage in executive-level customer financial discussions and reporting alignment
- Supervise auxiliary FSM resources in global account structures
- Ensure optimization of financial reporting processes and billing systems for large accounts
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong experience in billing operations, financial services, and account management
- Customer-facing experience in finance, billing, or relationship management roles
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, revenue tracking, and credit management
- Experience in IT procurement, supply chain coordination, and contract billing structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with billing systems and enterprise financial platforms (e.g., ETMS, OVI, EMEA billing systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in financial operations
- Ability to manage complex billing hierarchies and financial workflows
