Job Description

About Ripik.AI

Ripik.AI is an Accel-backed Applied AI company building computer vision and process-optimization agents for the world's largest industrial enterprises across steel, cement, aluminum, chemicals, pharma, and power. Our Vision AI platform acts as an automated pair of eyes on the shop floor — monitoring materials, equipment, and processes 24/7 with 95%+ accuracy, eliminating human error, and delivering measurable gains in throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and safety.

We work with marquee customers including Tata Steel, JSW, ArcelorMittal, Vedanta, Godrej & Boyce, Grasim, Holcim, and Jindal Steel, and are scaling globally across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. As we move into our next phase of growth, we are building the operating backbone that will take Ripik from a high-velocity scale-up to a category-defining global industrial AI company.

Ripik.AI is one of India's few AI product start-ups to be a partner to GCP, Azure, and AWS, and is the AI partner of choice for CII, ICC, and NASSCOM.

The Role

We are looking for a strong FP&A leader to be the strategic finance partner to the CEO and leadership team. You will own the planning, forecasting, and analytical backbone that helps us decide where to invest, how fast to grow, and how to measure what matters as we scale globally.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who has built FP&A in a high-growth B2B SaaS or deep-tech company, can move fluently between an Excel model and a board conversation, and wants to be at the centre of decision-making at one of the most exciting industrial AI companies in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plan across business units and geographies.
  • Build and maintain the core financial model — revenue, gross margin, cost structure, unit economics, cash flow, and scenario planning.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership on strategic decisions — pricing, GTM investment, hiring plans, geography expansion, and resource allocation.
  • Drive monthly business reviews with crisp variance analysis, KPI tracking, and actionable insights for each function.
  • Lead board and investor reporting — board decks, MIS, investor updates, and ad-hoc analyses for the leadership team.
  • Support fundraising and strategic transactions — financial models, data rooms, diligence support, and investor Q&A.
  • Build the FP&A operating system — planning tools, dashboards, and the data foundation needed to run a growing global business.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to translate business strategy into clear financial targets and trade-offs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • CA, MBA (Finance) with strong academic credentials.
  • 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance — with at least some time in a high-growth startup or SaaS environment.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills — you can build a clean, scalable model from scratch and stress-test it under multiple scenarios.
  • Strong commercial instinct — you understand SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC payback, LTV, gross margin) and how they connect to operating decisions.
  • Excellent communication — you can take a complex model and turn it into a one-page story for a CEO or a board.
  • Advanced Excel and working knowledge of BI tools and planning systems.
  • Bias for action — you don't wait for perfect data. You triangulate, decide, and move.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, deep-tech, or industrial software.
  • Exposure to international markets — multi-entity, multi-currency planning.
  • Experience supporting fundraising rounds or M&A transactions.
  • Familiarity with ERP and consolidation tools (Tally, Zoho, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

What You Can Expect

  • A seat at the table with leadership on the most consequential decisions of Ripik's next phase of growth.
  • Shape the future of manufacturing by leveraging best-in-class AI and software — and build a rare, in-demand skill set along the way.
  • World-class work culture, coaching, and development.
  • Mentorship from highly experienced leadership drawn from world-class companies (see the Ripik.AI website for details).
  • International exposure as we scale across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

Location
