Support the FP&A monthly close, day to day FP&A deliverables, prepare and distribute decks / reports to key decision makers, and assist in special and strategic projects. Ensure that all monthly financial analysis / reporting is delivered accurately and timely to facilitate decision making.
Key Result Areas:
- Support the FP&A team in the monthly close and financial analysis and reporting process.
- Preparation and validation of presentations decks for senior management and Corporate Group (i.e., Quarterly Financial Review, Quarterly Business Review and Board of Director meetings).
- Expense drivers analysis including waterfall analysis to clearly show reasons for changes versus previous period.
- Assist with reporting and process automation.
- Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects, and other direct support to the Corporate FP&A team on need basis.
- Support digitization and process improvement by adopting LEAN principles, employing best practices, and leveraging technology
- Manage (on need basis) junior team members ensuring consistent delivery against KPIs.
Skills/Experience Required
- 3-5 years of work experience in FP&A in a large corporate preferably in the service sector.
- Demonstrate the investigative research and analytical capabilities necessary to provide the leadership team with the accurate and insightful interpretation of financial information.
- Possess strong critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for operational and financial problems.
- Strong attention to details and analytical ability with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team.
