The role is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for assigned client accounts. This role partners closely with client leadership, internal finance teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive financial performance, ensure accuracy of client P&Ls, and support strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, communication excellence, and the ability to influence outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting cycles for client accounts.
Develop revenue, cost, margin, and cash flow projections with clear assumptions.
Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
Client P&L Ownership:
Maintain accurate and timely client P&L statements.
Analyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
Partner with account leadership to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
Reporting & Insights:
Prepare monthly financial dashboards, KPIs, and performance summaries for internal and client
stakeholders.
Translate financial data into clear, compelling insights for non-finance audiences.
Support client QBRs, business reviews, and executive presentations.
Business Partnering:
Act as the primary finance partner for client account teams.
Support pricing, contract renewals, SOWs, and commercial negotiations.
Collaborate with operations, delivery, HR, and procurement to ensure financial alignment.
Process Improvement:
Enhance forecasting models, reporting tools, and financial processes.
Drive automation and standardization across client finance workflows.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
What are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CA/CMA preferred).
6–10 years of FP&A or client finance experience, ideally in services, consulting, IT, or outsourcing
industries.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project accounting, and client profitability.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.).
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively.
High attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
