About the Role
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to support financial reporting, controllership, budgeting, compliance, and operational finance activities. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost management, audit compliance, and business performance monitoring while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support the preparation of Annual Operating Plans (AOP), Business Plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Perform monthly financial performance reviews and budget vs. actual variance analysis.
- Generate management reports, dashboards, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations.
Financial Controllership
- Assist in the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate finalization of trial balances.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support compliance with IND AS and internal financial control requirements.
SAP Finance & Reporting
- Utilize SAP HANA (FI Module) for journal postings, vendor/customer accounting, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update SAP Fund Management data for Plan vs. Actual monitoring and reporting.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes.
Audit & Compliance
- Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for Statutory, Internal, and Cost Audits.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Support Internal Financial Controls (IFC) documentation, testing, and compliance activities.
Cost & Working Capital Management
- Drive cost accounting activities, cost analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Monitor inventory valuation, inventory controls, receivables, and working capital performance.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and cost optimization.
Qualification & Experience
- CA Intermediate (CA Inter) – Mandatory
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts
- Experience in Manufacturing, Construction, Defence, Aerospace, Engineering, or Project-based organizations will be preferred.
- Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) are not being considered for this role.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in SAP HANA (SAP FI mandatory; Fund Management exposure preferred)
- Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Knowledge of IND AS, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Controls
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in management reporting and financial modelling preferred
