This position involves building robust, data-driven financial models from scratch in Excel to evaluate property acquisitions, developments, mortgage requirements, and portfolio performance. Key Objectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support real estate investment, development, and financial structuring decisions.
- Analyze market trends, property performance, and financial metrics to guide strategic planning.
- Collaborate with teams across India to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial models.
Responsibilities
- Build, update, and validate detailed financial models including cash flow projections, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct sensitivity and risk analysis to assess potential impacts on investment returns.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations summarizing model findings for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Work closely with valuation and advisory teams to align assumptions and data inputs.
- Continuously improve modeling processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably within real estate or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software; experience with Argus or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of real estate markets, investment principles, and valuation methodologies.
