Role Overview:
We are looking for a smart and analytically strong Financial Modeler with solid corporate finance understanding and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building detailed financial models, analyzing business performance, and supporting strategic decisions such as fundraising, valuation, and financial planning. This role requires someone who can combine strong analytical thinking with clear communication to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models including 3-statement models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Develop valuation models (DCF, comparable company analysis, scenario analysis).
- Support fundraising, investor presentations, and financial projections.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Analyse company performance, profitability, and key financial metrics.
- Work closely with founders, leadership, and stakeholders to translate business strategy into financial projections.
- Prepare clear financial reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support corporate finance activities such as capital structuring, investment evaluation, and financial planning.
Requirements:
- 15 years of experience in Financial Modelling, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets financial modelling.
- Good understanding of corporate finance concepts (valuation, financial statements, capital structure).
- Ability to build structured and error-free financial models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with startup financial modelling or fundraising models.
- Background in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or VC/PE.
- Familiarity with financial dashboards or BI tools is a plus.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (CA / CFA Level candidate is a plus).
