About the Role
As a Financial Market Sales Manager within Wholesale Banking, you will be responsible for delivering FX and derivatives solutions to existing clients and expanding the bank's treasury product footprint. This role involves partnering with coverage teams across Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Retail FX segments to drive client acquisition, product usage, and revenue growth. You will also play a key role in promoting digitized delivery of treasury products.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver FX and derivatives products to existing clients and increase market share across mapped relationships.
- Partner with Retail Branches and Relationship Managers to expand client coverage and treasury product penetration.
- Devise and execute strategies to acquire new clients and meet FX and derivatives business targets.
- Analyze client risk exposures and recommend hedging structures to optimize cost efficiency.
- Promote and enhance client adoption of digital platforms for treasury product delivery.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Support trade finance and equity sales initiatives as part of broader treasury engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and servicing of treasury transactions.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
- Postgraduate qualification (preferred), ideally an MBA from a premier institute
Experience
- 02 years of relevant experience in FX, derivatives, or financial markets
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of FX derivatives, equity sales, and trade finance
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess client risk and structure solutions
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Proactive approach to business development and digital product promotion
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
