Position: Financial Literacy Teacher

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Financial Literacy Teacher to help students develop essential money management and financial decision-making skills. The role includes classroom teaching, student mentoring, and organizing financial education activities to make learning practical and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Teaching
- Develop and deliver financial literacy lessons for Classes 612 covering budgeting, banking, digital payments, investments, insurance, taxation, financial planning, and cybersecurity.
- Use interactive methods such as case studies, simulations, projects, and activity-based learning.
- Update content based on current financial trends and NEP 2020 skill development guidelines.
Student Mentoring
- Guide students in developing responsible financial habits and decision-making skills.
- Track student progress and provide feedback.
Program Development
- Organize workshops, competitions, and activities such as budgeting challenges and mock stock market games.
- Collaborate with teachers and participate in school enrichment programs.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Education, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Management, or related field.
- B.Ed. preferred as per CBSE norms.
- Certifications in Financial Planning, Personal Finance, Investment Advisory, or related fields are an advantage.
Experience
- 25 years of teaching or training experience.
- Experience in mentoring students or activity-based learning preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to simplify financial concepts for students aged 1118.
- Creative teaching approach and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital learning tools.
