Job Description – Editor – BFSI (Digital)
Location: Mumbai
Role Summary – Full Time
We are looking for an editorial leader to establish and scale our BFSI Digital vertical. The role requires a strong blend of editorial expertise, industry relationships, and commercial acumen to build a credible financial content platform that drives audience engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the BFSI Digital editorial vertical from the ground up.
- Develop and execute the editorial strategy across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Capital Markets, and Personal Finance.
- Create exclusive, high-impact content and thought leadership initiatives.
- Leverage industry relationships to source breaking news, exclusive stories, and strategic collaborations.
- Partner with the business team to support content-led revenue opportunities while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Drive audience growth through digital-first content, SEO, social media, and analytics.
Preferred Experience
- 9–17 years of experience in BFSI/Financial Journalism or Digital Media.
- Hands-on experience reporting on the BFSI sector with leading financial publications or digital media platforms.
- Strong, established network with senior leaders across banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, fintechs, mutual funds, stock exchanges, and other financial institutions.
- Direct working relationships with key regulatory and statutory bodies such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, IFSCA, NPCI, AMFI, and relevant government departments.
- Proven ability to break exclusive stories and build a credible industry presence.
- Experience in setting up or scaling a digital editorial vertical will be an added advantage.
