We're looking for a data-driven Financial Data Analyst who can transform complex datasets into actionable insights while supporting the Finance team with analysis, financial modeling, and investor reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, automating processes, and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources for analysis.
• Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze business and financial data.
• Build and maintain dashboards, KPI trackers, and automated reports using BI tools.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Partner with the Finance team on financial models, forecasts, unit economics, and reconciliations.
• Prepare investor reports, MIS reports, and support data room documentation with accurate and timely insights.
• Automate recurring reports and workflows to improve reporting efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to streamline analysis and automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably in a startup environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience cleaning, validating, and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or similar BI tools.
• Good understanding of financial concepts and the ability to work with basic financial models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and the ability to use them to improve productivity.
