Role Description

A Financial Controller with 4-5 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA) overseeing core financial operations, ensuring compliance with Indian regulations like Ind AS, GST, Companies Act, and Income Tax laws. This role involves leading month-end closes, budgeting, and financial reporting, bridging operational finance and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial accounting including GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual statements compliant with Ind AS/IFRS.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management to support business decisions.

Ensure internal controls, audit coordination (statutory and internal), and tax compliance (GST, TDS, transfer pricing).

Required Qualifications

CA qualification from ICAI, with 4-5 years post-qualification experience in finance roles like FP&A or audit.

Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP), and Indian GAAP/Ind AS transitions.

Skills and Experience Fit

For 4-5 years exp, expect hands-on execution with some team supervision (2-5 members), focusing on cost control, KPI tracking, and liaising with auditors. Strong communication for board reporting and cross-functional collaboration is key.
