As a Financial Controller within the European Controlling team at Flora Food Group, you play a critical role in shaping financial excellence across the region. Based in Bangalore and working in a virtual, international setup, this role demands a true
Aplayer with exceptional technical expertise, communication skills, and leadership presence.
In this role, success looks like;
- Leading financial control activities for a European region Owning Balance Sheet and P&L reporting, steering monthend close, and delivering meaningful insights on overheads, cash flow, and business performance.
- Ensuring compliance and statutory excellence Managing local tax filings, statutory requirements, and audit coordination while ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and company policies.
- Partnering effectively with senior crossfunctional stakeholders Collaborating with Supply Chain, Treasury, Tax, Group Finance, and other teams, acting as a trusted finance advisor within a fully virtual, multicountry environment.
- Driving process improvements and R2R transformation initiatives Enhancing financial systems and processes through initiatives such as balance sheet reconciliation improvements, VAT compliance support, and functional streamlining (e.g., FS inhousing).
- Delivering strategic insights and creating leadership impact Articulating results, shaping financial narratives, challenging the status quo, and contributing to the growth and maturity of a highperforming European Controlling organization.
