About This Role

The Finance Controller owns NOOE's books end-to-end. P&L, cash flow,

GST and TDS compliance, payroll, vendor payments, monthly MIS reporting

to founders, and coordination with our external CA and auditor. This is

a solo finance role there is no team below you to start. You will be

the only finance person in the room, and that means owning everything

from Tally entries to board-level reporting.

If you've worked in a structured finance team at a large company and

need that scaffolding around you, this isn't the right fit. If you've

What You'll Own

Full books: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow

GST, TDS, ROC filings and compliance calendar

Payroll processing and vendor payments

Monthly MIS reporting to founders

Coordination with external CA and auditors

Financial controls and closing process from scratch

What We're Looking For

46 years of finance experience with solo or near-solo ownership

India compliance depth: GST, TDS, ROC for a private limited company

Systems builder: you set up the chart of accounts, the closing process,

and the MIS template not just maintain existing ones

Startup or SME experience: big-company finance team experience alone

is not sufficient

Clear communicator with non-finance founders

CA qualification or equivalent is a positive signal, not a requirement

MIS report quality and founder confidence in the numbers

Vendor payment accuracy and timeliness
