Financial Controller

Hiring for an Indian MNC client in the manufacturing sector.

Role- GM- Financial Controller

Mandatory Requirements:

- CA Qualified

- Strong expertise in Ind AS and IFRS, including financial consolidation.

- Manufactuing Background preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee accurate and timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and IFRS.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements are met.
• Maintain robust accounting processes, policies, and documentation.

2. Consolidation & Group Reporting

• Manage consolidation of multiple entities, including domestic and international subsidiaries.
• Ensure alignment with group reporting requirements and timelines.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.

3. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Liaise with auditors (internal and external) and manage audit processes.
• Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Provide insights into financial performance, variance analysis, and business drivers.
• Provide insights into CGU valuation and address impairment challenges
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Partner with business heads to drive cost optimization and profitability.

5. Working Capital Management

• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
• Optimize working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory.

6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and supply chain.
• Engage with senior leadership and group finance teams.
