Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada, responsible for overseeing the financial health and reporting of Esse India. The role includes managing accounting operations, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Financial Controller will collaborate with leadership and operational teams to optimize financial performance, implement internal controls, and support long-term business planning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Accounting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data interpretation and decision support.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field are preferred.
• Experience in financial control, budgeting, and compliance within consulting or services organizations is beneficial.
