You are Responsible for:
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS), regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and implement audit recommendations
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions
- Cross function on improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
- Ensure closure of books of accounts as per timelines
- Compile financial reporting packages
- Respond and action compliance and audit requests originating from both internal and external stakeholders.
To succeed in this role you should have the following:
- CA with 3-6 Years of experience in controllership role.
- Result-oriented with an ownership and accountability mindset
- Executive presence, influential management and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Technical Accounting & Reporting Expertise: Master financial reporting, internal controls, timely book closure, and tax.
- Strategic Business Acumen: Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and drive business efficiency.
- Influential Communication & Stakeholder Management: Influentially communicate financial data to auditors, leadership, and business partners.
- Proactive Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively manage internal controls and expertly handle all audit and compliance requests.
- Ownership, Accountability, & Execution Excellence: Lead with total ownership and accountability, ensuring timely and excellent execution.
