  • Position: Financial Analyst
  • Job Shift: Day/ Night
  • Experience: 1-6 Years (Prior experience in the US, UK, or other international mortgage processes is a must.)

  • Salary Range: Compensation will be offered based on the candidate's current salary, experience, and overall fit for the role.

Scope

The Financial Analyst will be a part of the operations team in the US mortgage domain. This role requires an analytical approach to go beyond operational deliverables to provide quick and accurate solutions to the clients daily.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting critical functions within the US Mortgage Banking industry for our clients. At XL Dynamics, you will receive extensive training and industry exposure that will help you develop deep expertise in the Fixed Income segment of the US financial markets, providing exceptional opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze borrowers financial documents, including income proofs, tax returns, bank statements, credit reports, asset documents, and employment records.
  • Perform detailed mortgage document reviews to ensure compliance with investor, agency, and client guidelines.
  • Support underwriting activities by analyzing loan files, calculating income, reviewing debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, and identifying risk factors.
  • Review appraisal and valuation reports to ensure property eligibility and compliance with lending standards.
  • Review and validate Closing Disclosures (CDs), Loan Estimates (LEs), and other closing documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks and identify discrepancies, missing documents, or compliance issues within loan files.
  • Maintain accurate records and update loan information in the ERP system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, underwriters, title companies, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a database by entering, verifying and backing up data and documents in the ERP system.

Skills/Expertise

  • Prior experience in the US, UK, or other international mortgage processes is a must.
  • Prior knowledge of government-backed and conventional mortgage underwriting guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be self–managed, responsive and dedicated to customer support.
  • Commitment to deliver quality results and overcome obstacles within the minimum stipulated time.
  • Strong customer service focus, with a drive to exceed the expectations of our clients.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to manage and prioritize multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise judgement within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
