Financial Analyst

Role Description We are hiring an Analyst – Finance to own the day-to-day accounting and compliance rhythm of the group and to support our project finance and fundraising workstreams. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants genuine exposure to how a renewable energy platform is financed — from GST filings to lender data rooms.

The role is designed with a clear growth path: strong performers will progressively take on corporate finance responsibilities (debt raise support, financial modelling, investor reporting) with a trajectory toward Associate and, over time, Manager – Corporate Finance as the group scales.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Book-keeping (core)

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts across group entities in Zoho Books — invoicing, expense recording, bank reconciliations, and inter-company entries
• Manage accounts receivable: raise customer invoices per PPA billing cycles, track collections, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain ageing reports
• Support the statutory auditor with schedules, ledgers, reconciliations, and audit queries during quarterly reviews and year-end close
• Maintain fixed asset registers and capital work-in-progress (CWIP) records for projects under construction

Compliance (core)

• Own the group compliance calendar: GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), TDS deductions and returns, EPFO and ESIC filings, and advance tax timelines
• Prepare and file GST returns across multiple state registrations; reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records
• Track ROC/MCA filing deadlines and support the company secretary on secretarial compliance
• Maintain organised documentation for statutory notices, assessments, and departmental correspondence

Banking & Treasury Operations

• Manage day-to-day banking operations: payments, RTGS/NEFT processing, and bank statement reconciliations
• Support bank guarantee (BG) issuance and renewal documentation, fixed deposit tracking, and margin money records
• Track loan repayment schedules and ensure timely EMI/interest servicing across lender relationships

Project Finance & Fundraising Support (development track)

• Maintain lender data rooms and respond to due-diligence information requests during debt raise processes
• Track loan covenants, DSRA requirements, and lender reporting obligations; prepare periodic lender MIS
• Support updates to project financial models (revenue, DSCR, cash flow tracking) under guidance
• Assist in preparing information memoranda, net worth certifications, and investor reporting packs

Must have:

• B.Com/M.Com, or CA Inter / CMA Inter with articleship experience
• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience (articleship at a CA firm counts)
• Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance, including multi-state GST filings
• Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, and comfort building clean working schedules
• High attention to detail, deadline discipline, and the ability to maintain organised documentation without supervision

Good to have:

• Experience with Zoho Books or similar cloud accounting platforms
• Exposure to project-financed businesses, infrastructure, or renewable energy
• Familiarity with banking documentation (BGs, term loans, working capital facilities)
• Basic understanding of financial modelling
