Role & responsibilities
- Supplier onboarding and setup
- Creation, amendment, and closure of purchase orders.
- Contract management including Oracle uploads, data validation, and contract updates.
- Processing supplier registrations and managing supplier account updates.
- Supporting branch requesters with supplier access and ordering credentials.
- Reviewing and updating SOPs to ensure process compliance and operational efficiency.
- Performing month-end procurement closing activities and maintaining procurement records.
- Managing active supplier site lists and maintaining documentation on shared drives.
- Ensuring supplier compliance by deactivating inactive suppliers based on payment activity.
Preferred candidate profile
- End-to-end knowledge of the Procurement cycle and understanding of Vendor Data Management
- Experienced in working on different ERP's and exposure to end-to-end process mapping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
- Must have proven capabilities of creating Process SOPs, Dashboards, and Trackers.
- Handle internal escalation as well as escalation from other teams in Global Shared services regarding people issues or client issues.
- Provide effective solutions and guide team members on various Functional issues.
