WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE

As a critical member of the Finance team, you will build your business knowledge and create strong relationships within the global Finance Community. You will have responsibility for working with business partners to understand reporting, the drivers behind variances and identify areas for improvement. You will need to display the gravitas and leadership to develop strong working relationships with the Finance Partners, Management teams and with the Regional Leadership to ensure all information is robust, clear, and overall achieves the goals and strategies.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO

You will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop and maintain overhead forecasts.
• Prepare regular reports on headcount, new hires, attrition, and payroll expenses.
• Conduct detailed monthly and quarterly variance analysis of actual expenditures against budget and forecast for key cost areas, including payroll, travel, and consultancy fees.
• Work with business partners to understand the drivers behind variances and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze trends and financial performance, with a focus on cost drivers and budget variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
• Support workforce planning processes and scenario modeling for headcount and compensation strategies.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving data quality, timeliness, and reporting accuracy.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE

• CA/ICWA (Inter) / MBA (Fin.) or equivalent part/fully qualified with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems is a plus (e.g. SAP).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret a high volume of complex financial data.
• Detail-oriented with track record of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Comfortable working with agility and pace, managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, financial modeling) is essential
• Experience in Planning tools like OneStream is desirable.
