Job Description

An Ideal Candidate:

An ideal candidate should be from a finance background with 8-10 years of experience in accounting, along with a proven track record of leading & implementing simplification/automations/Transformation.

Key Competencies:

  1. Performs monthly general ledger review to rationalise the balances & note abnormal balances or transactions, researching, initiating, and approving corrective actions.
  2. Challenging the appropriateness of accounts used and executing proactive preventive controls against inappropriate usage.
  3. Guide the ownership and responsibility of accounts and reports, and escalate any material issues that arise. Works closely with A/P and A/R and related non-finance teams.
  4. Identify and drive process efficiencies and in-house simplification and automation of existing processes.
  5. Month-End & Year-End Close: Complete all activities for the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all accounting entries are accurate and posted promptly.
