About the Role

As a Financial Analyst within the RDS Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial performance management, planning, and reporting across the division. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that blends FP&A, business partnering, data analytics, and automation - giving you the opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of finance activities while driving meaningful improvements in how data is used to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhancethe existing finance data model, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability

  • Support monthly and quarterlyprojection and reporting cycles, deliveringtimelyand high-quality outputs

  • Perform variance analysistoidentifyand communicate key business driversimpactingfinancial performance

  • Partner with stakeholdersacross Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance to provide actionable, data-driven insights

  • Support the Annual Planning processfor the division, coordinating inputs and ensuring alignment across teams

  • Translate complex financial and operational datainto clear, concise recommendations for senior decision-makers

  • Build andmaintaindashboards, automated reports, and analytical tools that improve reporting efficiency

  • Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and governance processes across the finance function

  • Identifyand implement opportunitiesto streamline and automate manual processes, driving continuous improvement

  • Support IFRS 15 contract assessments, revenue analysis, and related finance processes

  • Contribute to audit, risk, and control activitiesasrequired, ensuring compliance and robust financial governance

About the Team

TheRDS Data, Automation & Reportingteam is based inBangaloreand playsa central rolein managing reporting and planning data infrastructure, modelling, and analytics. Acting as a key partner to the global RDS Finance team, the teamoperatesas a unified finance function - supporting the RDS Management Team with high-quality insights, planning support, and financial decision-making. This is a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values curiosity, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset.

About You

You are an analytically minded finance professional who is equally comfortable working with numbers and engaging with stakeholders. You bring a natural curiosity to your work, are not afraid to challenge the status quo, and are passionate about using data and technology to make finance smarter and more efficient. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities withoutcompromising onquality, and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experiencein FP&A, business finance, controlling, analytics, or related roles

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degreein Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Advancedproficiencyin Excel and PowerPoint, withdemonstratedability to build complex financial models and executive-level presentations

  • Proficiencyin SQL, Python,PySparkor similar analytical tools, with the ability to work with large datasets and build scalable analytical solutions

  • Hands-on experience with Palantir / Stargate applicationspreferred, with the ability to navigate andleveragethese platforms for financial reporting and analytics

These areadditionalnicetohaves:

  • Experience in data model building and maintenance, with an understanding of data architecture and governance best practices

  • Familiarity with SaaS or fee-based business models, and an understanding of the financial dynamics of technology-driven businesses

  • Experience with data visualization toolssuch as Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to design intuitive, insight-driven dashboards

  • Exposure to automation, data pipelines, or self-service analytics, anda track recordof driving process improvements

  • Strong understanding of, ordemonstratedmotivation to developexpertisein,financial performance drivers and planning processes, including IFRS 15 or comparable revenue recognition frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences

  • Continuous improvement mindsetwith a focus on automation, efficiency, and innovation

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
