Financial Analyst with CA/CMA - Chennai ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. As a Financial Analyst I at ICON, you will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You will contribute to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization by providing insightful financial data, analysis, and recommendations. **What You Will Do:** You will take responsibility for finance and financial management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include: + Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes. + Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and key insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders. + Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement analysis. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of projects and initiatives. + Contributing to the development and improvement of financial models and analytical tools to enhance financial forecasting and analysis capabilities. **Your Profile:** You will bring relevant finance and financial management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills. Required qualifications and experience: + Should be fully/semi qualified CA/CMA. + Should have 2+years of post qualification experience. + Entry-level experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. + Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. + Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%) **What ICON can offer you:** Our success depends on the quality of our people.
