Position Overview
You'll drive data-driven decision making across a fast-growing two-sided marketplace in the workforce housing space. You'll create and analyze financial performance metrics that directly fuel rapid growth and strategic planning. This role offers the opportunity to build financial processes from the ground up while working directly with founders and leadership team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain all customer and supplier transactions across product lines
- Work with customers and provider partners to resolve questions on ongoing or new transactions that occur on platform
- Generate billing for customers as per existing agreements, collect and apply payments from customers to outstanding invoices
- Process payments to provider partners as needed
- Manage AR and AP on a continuous basis
- Continuously analyze data to identify and manage exceptions and evaluate financial performance
- Analyze key business metrics including customer number of transactions and average transaction value
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis for leadership and board presentations
- Support testing of new features and provide inputs to development team across product lines
- Develop dashboards and automated reporting to track KPIs across both enterprise and provider sides
Must Have Criteria
- 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in SaaS, marketplace, or tech companies
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience building dashboards and reports
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related quantitative field
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable business insights
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations and board materials
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Experience at seed or early-stage startups in high-growth environments
- Experience in financial services or consulting
- Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance
