About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst (Freelancer) to support financial planning, business analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities. You will work with financial data, generate actionable insights, and help drive strategic business decisions through accurate analysis and reporting.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with numbers, analyzing trends, and solving business problems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and business performance metrics.
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, budgets, and reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify business improvement opportunities.
- Support investment, revenue, cost, and profitability analysis.
- Create dashboards and presentations for stakeholders and management.
- Assist with financial planning, risk analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations based on insights.
- Work with spreadsheets, databases, and financial tools to manage data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business and finance-related projects.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of financial information.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience with budgeting, investment analysis, or business strategy.
- Familiarity with SQL, financial systems, or ERP platforms.
- Previous freelance or remote consulting experience.
