Job Description

Analyst Financial Statements (Freelance | 3-Month Contract)

We provide virtual business process services to various types of overseas clients and this position is to be part of the team which provides analysis of financial statements of private equity portfolio companies to USA client from Private Equity industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Management

Locate and retrieve client files (Financials, Covenants, KPIs etc.) from multiple folder

locations

Organize and maintain proper file directory structures for efficient data access

Parse and extract relevant tables from client files in various formats (Excel, CSV, Pdf,

JPEG)

Parsing & Mapping

Review and validate table headers to ensure consistency with expected formats

Identify and flag any discrepancies in data structure or format

Perform attribute mapping to align client data fields with platform standards

Create and maintain mapping documentation for different client configurations

Update mapping rules as client requirements evolve

Data Validation & Quality Control

Execute comprehensive data validation checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, and

anomalies

Apply validation rules to ensure data meets quality standards before submission

Document validation issues and work with stakeholders to resolve data quality

problems

Data Submission & Reconciliation

Submit validated data to the monitoring platform

Identify and investigate any discrepancies between source data and platform data

Generate reconciliation reports highlighting variances and resolution status

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Graduate or post-graduate qualification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a
  2. professional services environment within financial services, private equity, investment
  3. banking, fintech, or similar sectors.
  4. Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
  5. Self-starter with a strong desire to learn, grow, and consistently exceed objectives.
  6. Knowledge of MS Office with exceptional MS Excel skills.
  7. Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills

LOCATION: Hyderabad, India

TIMINGS: 12PM to 9PM IST.
