The ideal candidate will play a key role inbuilding and maintaining financial modelsand must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial information and statements across various companies, sectors, and sub-industries.
- Build and forecast simple or complex company financial models based on standard templates or specific client requirements.
- Interpret current and historical financial data, conduct comparative analyses, and evaluate the impact of proposed changes in processes or inputs.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and deliver clear, insightful presentations.
- Analyze and present results, variances, and trends with accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company and client information.
- Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute positively to the firm's culture.
- Interact directly with client teams, understand requirements, and provide appropriate financial solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities (both verbal and non-verbal).
- Sound knowledge of Valuations, GAAP/Non-GAAP standards, and M&A concepts.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience in financial modeling and projections, including building models from scratch in MS Excel, with a clear understanding of key business drivers (revenue, cost, etc.).
- Adaptable to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones, as per client requirements.
- Experience with financial data terminals such as Bloomberg, FactSet, etc., will be an added advantage.
