Role Overview

  • The Financial Analyst will support the deal team in preliminary sizing and underwriting of U.S. Commercial Real Estate transactions.
  • The Analyst will be responsible for evaluating deal information, performing financial analysis, and delivering clear, concise insights at each stage.
  • This position requires close collaboration with U.S.-based colleagues to proactively understand and address their needs, objectives, and challenges.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience within a financial institution, specifically in underwriting and managing commercial real estate loan portfolios.
  • Exposure to Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Bridge Lending is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with rent rolls and operating statements of all property types as part of financial analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to anticipate and respond to business needs.
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate underwriting practices and methodologies.
  • Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
