Work Arrangement: Work from Office
Location: India - Bangalore
Schedule: Night shift
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CEO to deliver actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making across operations, growth, and new initiatives
- Analyze store-level performance, unit economics, and margin drivers to optimize profitability
- Develop forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Evaluate new store openings, market expansion opportunities, and capital investments
- Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support pricing strategy, menu engineering, and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Improve financial reporting systems and leverage technology to drive efficiency
Qualification and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 25+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth consumer/retail businesses
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (experience with BI tools or SQL is a plus)
- Ability to synthesize data into strategic insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior leadership
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership and attention to detail
- Interest in food, hospitality, and consumer brands is highly preferred
